Googleが「Project Genie」をリリース、AIで無限の仮想世界を作成

Googleは、ユーザーがテキストや画像がぞうからオリジナルの仮想かそうテスト世界せかいを作成さくせいし、その中なかを探索たんさくできるウェブアプリ「Project Genie」をリリースしました。

このアプリは、Google DeepMindが開発かいはつしたAI「Genie 3」をベースにしています。ユーザーがプロンプト（指示しじ）を入力にゅうりょくすると、AIがリアルタイムで無限むげんに広ひろがる3Dの仮想かそう世界せかいを生うみ出します。ユーザーは一人称、あるいは三人称の視点してんで、その世界せかいを自由に歩あるき回まわることが可能です。

現在は実験的じっけんてきなプロトタイプとして、アメリカの「Google AI Ultra」利用者りようしゃに限定げんていして提供ていきょうされています。今後、提供ていきょう地域ちいきを拡大かくだいしていく予定よていで、ゲーム開発かいはつやロボット研究けんきゅうなどの分野ぶんやに革新かくしんを与あたえることが期待きたいされています。
