2024年度の児童虐待対応件数、統計開始以来初の減少も依然として高水準

厚生労働省こうせいろうどうしょうは、2024年度ねんどに全国ぜんこくの児童相談所じどうそうだんじょが対応たいおうした児童虐待じどうぎゃくたいの相談件数そうだんけんすうが、22万まん3691件けんに達たっしたと発表はっぴょうしました。これは前年度ぜんねんどと比較ひかくして0.8％の微減びげんとなり、1990年度ねんどの統計開始とうけいかいし以来、初めて減少げんしょうに転てんじました。

内訳うちわけを見みると、面前めんぜんDVや言葉による脅おどしなどの「心理的虐待しんりてきぎゃくたい」が13万まん3024件けんと最多さいたを占しめ、全体ぜんたいの約6割わりに及およんでいます。次いで「身体的虐待しんたいてきぎゃくたい」が5万まん2535件けん、育児放棄いくじほうきにあたる「ネグレクト」が3万まん5612件けんとなっています。加害者かがいしゃの約9割わりが実父母じつふぼであり、家庭かてい内ないでの孤立こりつやストレスが背景はいけいにあると推察すいさつされます。

Looking at the breakdown, 'psychological abuse' such as witnessing domestic violence (DV) or verbal threats accounted for the largest number at 133,024 cases, representing approximately 60% of the total. This was followed by 'physical abuse' at 52,535 cases and 'neglect' (child abandonment) at 35,612 cases. Approximately 90% of the perpetrators are biological parents, leading to the inference that isolation and stress within the household are factors in the background.
