大阪大学おおさかだいがく発はつのベンチャー企業きぎょうが、世界せかいで最もっとも細ほそい直径ちょっけい約やく4ミリの胃いカメラを開発かいはつしました。

この新あたらしい胃いカメラは、従来じゅうらいの機器ききと比くらべて構造こうぞうが非常ひじょうにシンプルです。従来じゅうらいの胃いカメラは高価こうかで構造こうぞうが複雑ふくざつなため、使用しようした後あとの洗浄せんじょうや消毒しょうどくに多おおくの手間てまがかかっていました。しかし、新あたらしい胃いカメラは構造こうぞうをシンプルにすることで、完全かんぜんな「使つかい捨すて」を可能かのうにしました。これにより、医療現場いりょうげんばでの洗浄せんじょうや消毒しょうどくの手間てまを省はぶき、感染症かんせんしょうのリスクを下さげることができます。

また、直径ちょっけいが約やく4ミリと極きわめて細ほそいため、患者かんじゃが検査けんさを受うける時ときの苦痛くつうや不快感ふかいかんを大幅おおはばに減へらすことができます。開発かいはつを主導しゅどうした大阪大学おおさかだいがくの中島清一なかじませいいち特任教授とくにんきょうじゅらは、この技術ぎじゅつによって、より多おおくの人ひとが手軽てがるに胃いがん検診けんしんを受うけられるようになることを目指めざしています。
