東京大学の「赤門」で改修工事の見学会が開かれる

東京とうきょう・文京区ぶんきょうくにある東京大学とうきょうだいがくのキャンパスで、国くにの重要文化財じゅうようぶんかざいに指定していされている「赤門あかもん」の改修かいしゅう工事こうじ現場げんばが5日いつか、関係者かんけいしゃ向むけに公開こうかいされました。

「赤門あかもん」は、江戸時代えどじだいに加賀藩かがはんの屋敷やしきの門もんとして建たてられた歴史的れきしてきな建造物けんぞうぶつです。現在げんざいは、解体かいたいや改修かいしゅうの工事こうじが進すすめられています。

•The Akamon (Red Gate) of the University of Tokyo was originally built in 1827 for the marriage of Lady Yasu, a daughter of the 11th Tokugawa Shogun, to the lord of the Kaga Domain (Maeda clan). Red gates were traditionally permitted only for shogun daughters marrying into feudal lord families.
•Because of structural deterioration and seismic concerns, Akamon has been closed to general passage since 2021, making public renovation viewing tours exceptionally rare.
