国連本部で「平和の鐘」を鳴らす式典がありました

アメリカのニューヨークにある国連本部こくれんほんぶで、日本にほんから贈おくられた「平和へいわの鐘かね」を鳴ならす式典しきてんがありました。

贈られる= to be presented or gifted (passive form of 贈る)

この式典しきてんは、世界中せかいじゅうで戦たたかいをやめることや平和へいわを訴うったえる「国際平和こくさいへいわデー」の前まえに行おこなわれました。

行われる= to be held or to take place (passive form of 行う)

式典しきてんでは、国連こくれんのグテーレス事務総長じむそうちょうが鐘かねを鳴ならしました。そして、世界せかいの指導者しどうしゃたちに、平和へいわを作つくるための行動こうどうをするように呼よびかけました。
