Novak Djokovic has reached the semifinals of Wimbledon after winning the longest quarterfinal match in the tournament's history. The 39-year-old Serbian player defeated Canadian third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in a thrilling five-set match.

The match lasted five hours and 15 minutes, finishing just six minutes before Wimbledon's 11:00 PM curfew. Djokovic won with a final score of 7-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6. The temperatures on Tuesday were very high, making the match even harder for both players.

During the first set, Djokovic hurt himself after slipping during a play. The crowd was worried, and a trainer was called to help him. However, he was able to continue playing. After winning the first set in a long tie-break, Djokovic had to fight hard against the younger Auger-Aliassime, who is 15 years younger than him.

In the final set, Djokovic showed his strength and experience to win the deciding tie-break. When asked how he won the match, Djokovic said, "With my racket and a lot of heart. Towards the end, it was anyone's match."

With this victory, Djokovic broke several records. He has now reached his 15th Wimbledon semifinal and his 55th Grand Slam semifinal. He is also only the second player aged 39 or older to reach the men's semifinals at Wimbledon in the Open era.

On Friday, Djokovic will play against world number one Jannik Sinner for a place in the final. Sinner is the defending champion, and the match will be another big challenge. Djokovic is trying to win his 25th Grand Slam title and his eighth Wimbledon crown.
