Prime Video users can now play video games directly inside the streaming app. Amazon has added a new Games tab on Fire TV devices for users in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The new section integrates Amazon's cloud gaming platform, Luna. This allows people to start playing games right away without buying expensive consoles or waiting for long downloads. Prime members can access popular titles like Fallout 4, Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 26, and Clue.
Amazon is focusing on casual gamers who already use Prime Video to watch movies, TV shows, and sports. The company plans to introduce more games linked to popular franchises, including Tomb Raider and James Bond.
Amazon announced that details about additional supported devices, countries, and games will be shared later.
