If your LinkedIn feed feels full of unnatural, artificial intelligence-generated posts, you are not alone. LinkedIn is now testing a new feature that allows users to flag posts as "AI slop."

allow someone to V= 人が〜できるようにする

The new option appears in the three-dots menu on individual posts. When a user selects the button marked "Seems like AI slop," LinkedIn hides the post and shows a message thanking the user for their feedback. LinkedIn says this user feedback will help tune its algorithms and clean up user feeds.

The update comes as low-quality AI content becomes increasingly common across professional networks. According to data from AI detector Pangram, 41 percent of longform LinkedIn posts were flagged as being completely generated by AI.

come as= 〜という状況の中で発生する

Hari Srinivasan, LinkedIn's chief product officer, stated that tackling AI slop is a top priority for the platform. Along with the reporting button, LinkedIn is rolling out new systems to identify low-quality content automatically. These classifiers will help reduce the amount of AI slop shown in suggested posts and in content from outside a user's direct network.

along with= 〜に加えて、〜と一緒に

LinkedIn is also updating its AI tools for writers. The company is removing a feature that used AI to rewrite or "enhance" posts. It will replace it with a tool that proofreads text without altering the author's original voice.
