A famous glowing balloon is flying over Paris again. People in the city can see the Olympic cauldron rising into the night sky during the summer.
The hot-air balloon first appeared at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Two years later, the cauldron still makes regular appearances in the summer. Hundreds of people gather on the grass between the Louvre museum and the Tuileries Garden to watch it.
At 9:30 p.m., the bright balloon begins to go up into the sky. It rises a couple hundred feet above the ground while carrying the cauldron. People clap, take photos, and record videos as it bobs overhead.
Visitors enjoy watching the luminous balloon fly at night. It gives people in Paris a simple reason to look up with joy.
