Justin Bieber will perform at the 2026 World Cup final in New York.
The Canadian pop star will sing on July 19. This is the first time the World Cup will have a large half-time show. It will be similar to the American Super Bowl. Bieber will perform with other famous stars, including Madonna, Shakira, and the K-pop group BTS.
Other performers will also join the 11-minute show. These include Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, and characters from Sesame Street. Chris Martin from the band Coldplay organized the event. The show aims to raise $100 million for the Fifa Global Citizen Education Fund to help children around the world.
"The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can," Bieber said.
This is a big event for the 32-year-old singer. Bieber had health problems in the past and cancelled his Justice world tour. In April, he returned to the stage at the Coachella music festival.
Shakira and Burna Boy will also sing together again. They performed at the start of the tournament in June. Their song "Dai Dai" is a very popular hit.
The World Cup started on June 11. There were 48 teams playing in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Now, all three host countries are out of the tournament. Only eight teams are left.
